Airstream Demo and Pickup

Ultimately, we decided on the Flying Cloud 30RBT and couldn't be happier.  It is a perfect combination of size and durability for our family of four and I believe the other models would not have been as durable for our active kids and our 3 even-more-active Cairn Terriers.

The purchase of our Airstream was fast and furious after we located the unit we wanted and the rep we wanted to work with.  After a couple of false starts with our local dealer, we were forwarded to Jimmy at Airstream of Tampa and within a half hour he had a unit coming off the line exactly as we wanted and a price that was significantly less than I had seen elsewhere.

And, it was ready way sooner than promised which was also good!

Getting word on Thursday, Lucas and I made plans to drive to Tampa the following Monday so we could handle the pickup first thing Tuesday February 5th.  The team there walked us through everything and was great to work with.

While we were there, we were also able to take advantage of the 360 degree factory tour which was made more special because it is led by Tim Maxwell who was incredibly helpful throughout our buying process and beyond.  Thank you Tim!
